Smithsonian Folklife Festival

June 29 - July 6

Spend a day soaking up culture and learning at the educational Smithsonian Folklife Festival. The annual event includes activities such as craft workshops, games, cooking, and question-and-answer sessions with artists, handicraft-makers, and experts. This year, the festival will be focusing on two themes: circus arts and migration across generations. You’ll get to see acrobats and object manipulators under a circus tent and participate in dialogues and discussions about the impact of change and immigration. The festival will be an engaging, fascinating experience that will be sure to leave you with a new understanding of each of these topics.

Book here to stay with the St. Gregory Hotel during the event. For more information, check out the event website here.
