National Symphony Orchestra: Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto

Classical music fans will love having the opportunity to hear pianist Kirill Gerstein take on two pieces by famed Russian Romantic composers Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Stravinsky. Gerstein will first play Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, a powerful, moving piece that will capture your attention, before then moving on to Tchaikovsky’s magical work The Tempest, followed by Stravinsky’s The Fairy’s Kiss.
