Enjoy a cultural day out with the family at the Dupont-Kalorama Museum Walk Weekend this summer! This educational activity is the perfect way to spend a day learning all about art without blowing your vacation budget. You’ll have access to all participating museums, totally free of charge. Among the galleries included in the weekend are Anderson House, a National History Landmark that’ll give visitors insight into the American Revolution; Dumbarton House, a gorgeous estate dating back to the Federal period; the Heurich House Museum, a 19th-century mansion belonging to a local brewer and philantropist; the President Woodrow Wilson house, a historic site that features exhibitions on the former American chief executive; and the Mary McLeod Bethune house, the first headquarters of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW).
