National Symphony Orchestra: John F. Kennedy Centennial Celebration With Yo-Yo Ma

March 24

Commemorate the life of one of America’s greatest presidents alongside one of the world’s most celebrated living musicians during cellist Yo-Yo Ma’s tribute to John F. Kennedy this year. The performance will also bring together Kennedy Center Composer-in-Residence Mason Bates, who will craft a new piece that will be played for the first time at this show, as well as mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke. This show is definitely one that you’ll want to bring the kids to. You’ll get to mix a history lesson in with a glimpse into the musical world. Make sure to get tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime show at the Kennedy Center soon!
