This November, take in some old-school theater when acclaimed playwright Arthur Miller’s classic—A View From The Bridge—comes to town. Directed by Ivo Van Hove, this double-Tony-award winning production will come to Washington’s gorgeous Kennedy Center venue. The moody, dramatic play, set in the 1950s, focuses on Italian-American Brooklynite Eddie Carbone, whose growing fixation with his niece takes a disturbing turn when she falls for another man and decides to marry him. Given the adult themes of this play, it’s best to keep the under-fourteen crowd at home and make this a night out for the grown-ups.
