A Revolution in Arms is a new exhibition at The Society of the Cincinnati Anderson House in Washington, DC. It will look at the various muskets, swords, rifles, and different weapons used by the undersupplied American troops during the Revolutionary War. The country wasn’t well equipped with weapons manufacturers during the war, and the U.S. army famously fought the well-stocked British army with makeshift weapons and hunting gear brought from home. This makes for a fascinating exhibit study this fall and winter at Anderson House.
