This larger-than-life industrial restaurant in DC’s Chinatown features one of the most stellar rooftop patios in the District. Head here for some wood-grilled specialties, and innovative brunch options like an oyster scramble, or top-of-the-line cocktails to enjoy with friends.

Another modern local hangout with an industrial aesthetic, Takoda is a DC beer garden that’s enjoyable all year round. Of course, we are still excited about some its famous craft brews and brisket sliders under some warm sunlight in place of the winter’s heat lamps.

Brixton is a trendy, versatile bar and restaurant located on DC’s world-famous U Street. Stop by and have a pint in its first-floor British pub, in the second-floor lounge, or at either of the two bars located on the roof.

Red Derby is a 14th Street favorite that checks off several boxes on the trendy-bar checklist. Its collection of craft canned beers, board games, brunch and pub grub options all keep regulars coming back night after night. Not to mention, it has a great roof deck where you can enjoy all of these other fun attractions.
