Spring in Washington, DC means that the whole city will be spending as much time outside as possible. Leaving the cold of winter behind us, we’ll be hitting Washington DC’s best rooftops and beer gardens every day the sun is out. For curious travelers, here are some must-visit stop-offs:

Bar Deco

This larger-than-life industrial restaurant in DC’s Chinatown features one of the most stellar rooftop patios in the District. Head here for some wood-grilled specialties, and innovative brunch options like an oyster scramble, or top-of-the-line cocktails to enjoy with friends.

Perry’s Restaurant

Make a reservation to enjoy a spectacular sushi dinner at this Columbia Road favorite, and be sure to save time for cocktails on its illustrious roof deck. Perry’s outdoor bar offers guests killer drinks, sprawling views, and an excellent drag brunch on Sundays.

Another modern local hangout with an industrial aesthetic, Takoda is a DC beer garden that’s enjoyable all year round. Of course, we are still excited about some its famous craft brews and brisket sliders under some warm sunlight in place of the winter’s heat lamps.
