Comments: Lawan - From the first time we spoke on the phone, I knew that you would make sure our guests' experience was perfect. Thank you for being there to relieve our stress and to ensure that the event (Catholic Medical Mission Board) was flawless. I can't wait to work with you again!

Comments: Thank you for returning my wedding ring that I left behind in my hotel room. In today's world, the compassion of looking out after our fellowman has diminished, a lot. However, this is not the case with the staff of St. Gregory. All the staff members meet you wit ha smile and help you in a friendly manner. This is true from the porter in the men's room to the hotel manager, Wilver. Again, thank you Ardot for turning in my ring to the front desk. May God bless you all. I hope to return again to St. Gregory hotel for a longer stay.

Comments: Thanks so much! Some time ago our family arrived in your city on a vacation and has remained in your hotel. I and my wife have perfectly spent time and have received weight of positive emotions. I wish to express huge gratitude to all personnel of your hotel for warm reception and fine service (the personnel of your hotel has proved to be from an excellent side). Separate thanks to management of your hotel that could pick up such personnel and with honour support a high class of your hotel. I shall recommend your hotel to all friends and partners on business (some of them already are visit in the near future at your hotel).

Comments: Pleasantly surprised. I was pleasantly surprised at our accommodations at the St. Gregory in Washington, D.C. The staff was by friendly and accommodating. The room was huge and nicely appointed with a sitting area. I especially like the fact that the was a little note about the bedspreads! I felt that this showed that they take pride in how the room is kept. The bathroom was extremely large with a white marble floor and what appeared to be brand new sink, etc. unless they just keep it looking that way. We made a request from housekeeping and had a response in a matter of minutes. The location is also worth the price, which was a last minute rate. The room was quiet and we could not ask for anything more. The St. Gregory Hotel and Suites was worth every cent … and more, Oh yes and I forgot to add that my leather boots were shined overnight and hanging back on the doorknob as one of those little additions that is always appreciated !!

Comments: Fairmont for half the price. I think I'd like to say I know a little bit about hotels I'm constantly on the road I had the pleasure of staying at the Fairmont for four nights I was on the friends and family rate which was regularly $800 a night I got the $500- I decided I needed to extend my travels in Washington didn't want to spend 500 a night as there was not enough bang for the $$ so I went on Priceline.com and discover St. Gregory, it was clean and organize staff was very nice, but I'm scared- I just came from a five star, and my wife is with me on this trip i thought to myself what am I doing this is going to be a bad move, but oh my stars- it was fantastic price points are great, I loved it hundred percent would go back.

Comments: MUST talk to staff... great hotel. It was our anniversary and we were upgraded (without asking) to a premium suite on the top floor of the hotel (9th). I was more than impressed with front desk reception--- especially Siomara, who went out of her way to make sure we were happy.

We were driving and called about an hour out to make sure our room was still reserved (as it was later in the evening and well past the check-in time) and confirmed our room with the front desk... it was from there that I believe we were upgraded bc i offhandedly mentioned it was our anniversary. We stayed on the top floor with a HUGE balcony and a King sized suite (I had purchased a Queen suite directly thru the hotel bc it was cheaper than any site I visited.) Throughout our 4 day/3 night stay we had multiple interactions with the front desk and every single one of them exceeded my expectations...

I was told by front desk associate Siomara in particular that they were there to make sure we were given the best experience possible. There is not a better hotel for the price anywhere in D.C. and even though it's somewhat of a walk to the attractions (15 mins to white house), its well worth the savings. This is a GRADE A HOTEL.

Comments: Luciano was excellent with helping us with directions when the roads to the hotel were closed. He assisted in getting a bell person to guide us with our luggage and auto to the front of the hotel. Thank you so much, Luciano.

Comments: We always stay with you when in Washington and expect to return in April and May. Always very comfortable. Front desk folks are friendly and always helpful. Bell staff are most helpful and gracious, especially Solomon and Moses. Enjoy being greeted by them.

Comments: The room was lovely ... but no bottled water ... that was odd. The new young man at the front desk was very concerned for our well being ... actually everyone on the desk Sat and Sun, Jan 28 and 29 was very helpful. So was the manager. Restaurant manager and waiters were terrific.

Comments: The folks at the front desk and the bellman were incredibly nice and helpful! Love the hotel. The rooms were clean and neat. The only thing I didn't like was the bedspread. It wasn't up to par with the rest of the quality of the decor.

Comments: I wish I knew names but I did want to let you know that the bell staff were incredible!

Comments: All staff exceedingly friendly and helpful ... Especially coming in cold and wet from a walk in the snow from the Dupont Metro stop to the hotel. Check-in was very quick, smooth, and supportive.
Are you likely to return or refer a friend? Yes

Comments: I appreciated the fact that we needed to swipe our room card in the elevator to get to our floor. I was also surprised at how professional the staff was. I don't remember anyone's name in particular, but the entire staff was very friendly - not something you often see in hotels.

Comments: Front desk and bell/door people did an excellent job Christmas day!

Comments: Champagne and extra Oreos! WOW! If there had been caviar, I would have feared Robin Leach (Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous) were in my closet. A warm and wonderful reception at the end of a rough work day! Five stars!
